A Menu for an Indoor Picnic

We had a first anniversary dinner celebration with the family today, and boy, was it a feast! Check out the spread!

• Green salad
• Homemade baked beans, made with home-cured/smoked bacon (see Low & Slow by Gary Wiviott)
• Grilled bun-length weiners
• Home-smoked brisket (also see Low & Slow by Gary Wiviott)
• Home-smoked Kreuz's sausage (shipped from Lockhart, TX)
• Home-smoked Usinger's brats (straight from Milwaukee)
• Home-smoked homemade kobas (see the blog entry "A (Graphic) Experience with Kobas")
• Aunt Sally's broccoli, corn and cheese casserole
• Pecan pie (see Joy of Cooking and use dark syrup with rum)
• Fresh glazed strawberry pie (see Joy of Cooking but use 1/3 cup cornstarch and set for 5 hours)
• Molasses cookies (see America Test Kitchen's American Classics, and let them sit for a day in a Ziploc)
• Home-brewed Old Fort IPA, MARS Oktoberfest, Beat Army Bock, and Dundalk Irish Heavy
